Job Description:
Simco NJ, Inc., a manufacturer of wire harnesses, cable assemblies and electro-mechanical assemblies is seeking a motivated Production Associate to join our team. This position is a training position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn to operate wire processing machinery efficiently and safely, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Assist in setting up crimp applicators for various termination equipment to optimize production processes.
• Assist in inventory management of various electronic components, including tracking inventory levels and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with other teams to implement process improvements and resolve production issues.
• Handle daily shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing orders for shipment and receiving incoming shipments using UPS, FedEx, and DHL.

Qualifications:

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
• Knowledge of using and reading various measuring devices such as rulers, calipers, tape measures, etc.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
